So the desire to go out and play is always there.”As the discussion veered towards cricket, the West Indian great commented on the current WI team’s dismal performance in India too. He said, “Playing in India is always tough for a visiting team but winning and losing is a part of the game. Also, comparison (between the current team and the erstwhile WI team which was a driving force in cricket) will happen but I don’t think it’s fair to do that.”The erstwhile WI team was also one against whom India won their first world cup in 1983, under the captaincy of Kapil paaji.
