All other demands will be resolved as early as possible,’’ Mahajan said.Leader of the Opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil will move breach of privilege notices against the chief minister for leaking the report, and some commission members for giving interviews on its contents.

Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis declared that it will be a day of celebration for Marathas,’’ a senior bureaucrat told TOI on Saturday.While the consultation progress will go on, the Backward Classes Commission report will be placed before the state cabinet on Sunday and a comprehensive bill to provide reservations for Marathas will be introduced during the winter session of the state legislature commencing from Monday.“The CM met senior law and judiciary department officials and others on the Maratha reservation issue. The CM is determined to take a decision on providing reservations before November 30,’’ he said.Maratha activists called off their hunger strike after water resources minister Girish Mahajan assured them that their demands would be resolved in a time-bound period. “Now that the report has been submitted, the CM has assured a decision before November 30, and December 1 will be a day of celebration.
