Hyperloop a trial project so not in CMP Girish Bapat

PUNE: Guardian minister Girish Bapat on Monday said hyperloop was just a “test project” and so it could not be implemented under the Comprehensive Mobility Plan the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority had made for the next 20 years.“Hyperloop project is only in the test phase and we have to wait for the outcome. So, we cannot propose it,” said Bapat, also the vice-president of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), defending its exclusion from the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP).The CMP is a vision statement of the direction in which the urban transport in the city should go.
