Decision on Pune’s water cut in February

Irrigation officials had told PMC to manage the water needs in 11.5 TMC water, as per contract.There have been discussions on the water cut in PMC areas for around three month. PUNE: The decision on water cuts to be imposed in Pune city will be taken in February. The available stock will be reviewed at that time; after that the decision on water cuts will be taken. An all-party meeting postponed the call on reducing water quota "Interactions with the civic officials and irrigation officials will be carried out next month. It gave directives to PMC to follow the contract terms and lift water from dams accordingly.According to PMC officials and elected members, the civic body is lifting 1350 MLD water per day.
