Now aptitude test for CBSE students

After the state board, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced aptitude test for class IX and X students to help them make a career decision.Called Know Your Aptitude (KYA) tool, it will be available for schools to download starting January 29. There will also be a guide for teachers, a test booklet, technical manual and an answer key.A link giving scores of the students too will be available on CBSE website from the same day. Keeping this in view, the National Council of Educational Research and Training in Delhi has developed a tool for knowing the aptitude of students of classes IX and X,” read a circular by CBSE.The test would be voluntary and may be administered to students on any working day, said officials. “As students enter secondary stage of schooling, they move closer to making career choices, one of which is deciding subjects at senior secondary level like humanities, commerce, science or vocational.
