We have already sent a proposal for funds under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) to the Union government through the state government office.”The majority of the classrooms in ZP schools in Junnar Daund , Haveli and Maval talukas were found to be in a bad state.Meanwhile, Suraj Mandhare, chief executive officer of Pune ZP, said, “We are allocating maximum funds from the budget set aside for education at ZP for repairs and construction works in the classrooms. As of now, all block officers have been strictly instructed to stop conducting classes in classrooms that are in a dangerous state.
