13 men steal bank’s cash box with Rs 28 lakh

PUNE: A cash box containing around Rs28 lakh was stolen from the State Bank of India (SBI)’s Market Yard branch by a 13-member gang, minutes after it opened on Friday morning.The gang entered the bank, posing as customers, and conducted a recce before carrying out the act.Rajendra Mokashi, in-charge of the Khadak police station said, “After the bank opened in the morning, the staffers removed Rs28,09,300 deposited by customers in an ATM and kept it in a cash box.
