The driver was accompanied by the truck cleaner, Yogesh Dwivedi.According to the First Information Report (FIR), the truck was heading towards Pune from Nasik at around 6.30 pm. The trio charged towards the truck and pulled down Kamble from the truck and started kicking and punching him. The suspects also beat up Dwivedi with a stick.The suspects then asked Kamble to drive the Mhalunge near Ravet and asked the truck driver to halt the truck at an isolated spot. The trio assaulted the truck driver and cleaner before robbing the material.Truck driver Subhas Nivrutti Kamble (57), a resident of Lonikand on Pune-Ahmednagar highway , lodged a complaint with the Chakan police. The suspects then unloaded spare part packets from the truck and asked the truck driver and cleaner to sit quietly in the cabin.The suspects then summoned a pick-up truck to the spot and stole fled with the spares.
