PUNE: One person was killed and three others were injured in an head on collision between a tanker and tempo at Dive ghat on Hadapsar-Saswad road on Saturday around 7.30am.The Loni Kalbhor police identified the deceased tempo driver as Dhanraj Nivrutti Bichitkar (43) from Chintamaninagar in Hadapsar.The tempo was heading in the direction of Hadapsar from Saswad when a speeding petrol tanker coming from the opposite side lost control over the vehicle and collided head on with the tempo killing its driver.The impact of the accident was such that the tempo was pushed behind and hit a sports utility vehicle but its driver escaped unhurt.
