PUNE: One person was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a tanker and a tempo at Dive ghat on Hadapsar-Saswad road around 7.30am on Saturday.The Loni Kalbhor police identified the deceased tempo driver as Dhanraj Nivrutti Bichitkar (43) from Chintamaninagar in Hadapsar The tempo was heading towards Hadapsar from Saswad when the driver of a speeding petrol tanker travelling in the opposite side lost control over the vehicle and collided head on with the tempo, killing its driver.The impact of the accident was such that the tempo was pushed behind and hit a sports utility vehicle (SUV).
