COVID vaccination at 16 places in Pune, 52,000 registration till now

Additional Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Rubal Agarwal, informed that the COVID vaccination drive for health workers from PMC will start on January 16 across 15 municipal wards.

Additional Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Rubal Agarwal, informed that the COVID vaccination drive for health workers from PMC will start on January 16 across 15 municipal wards.

The vaccination program will start from 16th January from all over the country. Preparations are going on in Pune also. The PMC has selected 16 places under various ward office where the vaccination will be done in the city. In the first phase, only health workers will get the vaccine.

Talking about over-all planning for this program PMC health officer Dr Ashish Bharti said, “The vaccination will be done in eight days. PMC has selected 16 booths for this program. Both government and private health workers will be vaccinated. The registration includes 11,222 government health workers and 41,888 workers from various private hospitals in the city. Every day 100 people will be vaccinated, the appointment will be given by a message.”

The Vaccination drive will be done at following ward offices and places: Kasba-Vishrambagwada, Dhole-Patil road, Nagar Road, Yerwada, Warje, Sinhgad road, Konadhwa, Wanwadi, Yewalewadi, Hadapsar, Bibwewadi, Dhankawadi, Balajinagar, Sahkarnagar, Shivajinagar, Ghole road, Vishrantwadi, Aundh-Baner.
