Pune, Jul 21 (PTI) The National Defence Academy here on Thursday paid homage to Captain Anand of the 15th Battalion of the Rajputana Rifles who was killed while doing his duty along the Line of Control in the Mendhar Sector.He was an alumnus of the 135th NDA Course, said a release from the country"s premier defence academy.A wreath-laying ceremony was organized at the Hut of Remembrance at the NDA on Thursday, it said.Vice Admiral Ajay Kochhar, AVSM, NM, Commandant, NDA, paid homage to Anand.Captain Anand and a junior commissioned officer (JCO) Naib Subedar Bhagwan Singh were killed in an accidental grenade blast along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir"s Poonch district on July 17.
