Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation advised not to repeat past mistakes

Project consultant appointed for the project is preparing the detailed project report (DPR). As a result, the project got delayed.The proposal tabled before the GB stated that a total of 9,458 tenements will be constructed. Out of which 1,442 tenements will be constructed at Charholi' 1,080 tenements at Ravet; 896 tenements at Dudulgaon; 840 tenements at Dighi; 1,400 tenements each at Borhadewadi, Wadmukhwadi and Chikhli and 500 tenements each at Akurdi and Pimpri. But the project was mired in controversy for not taking requisite permission from various authorities, increasing the cost of beneficiary share by more than double to Rs 3.76 lakh and halving the project size to 6,100 tenements.
