RAIPUR: Day after TOI reported ill health of 106-year-old Swachch Bharat mascot unwar Bai who expressed her wish to meet Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh , the CM made video call on Whatsapp from Delhi to her family and inquired about her health.Kunwar Bai was undergoing treatment at ICU in Dhamtari district hospital and she was shifted to Raipur’s BR Ambedkar hospital on Thursday as doctors stated her health to be stable enough for shifting.When the CM learnt about Kunwar Bai’s deteriorating health and her wish to meet him through media reports, he made a Whatsapp video call on Wednesday night.Talking to TOI, Dhamtari collector CR Prasanna confirmed, "chief minister had video called and spoke to the daughter and grand daughter of Kunwar Bai as she wasn’t able to talk. He ensured best possible treatment was being provided to the elderly woman adding that if required, government would make arrangements for transporting her to Raipur for better treatment.” He spoke to family for about five minutes.Prasanna said that when Kunwar Bai was admitted on February 19, her blood pressure and sugar were too high as she hadn’t consumed food for past several days. She was too weak and couldn’t speak. Doctors had said that she wasn’t in position to be taken to Raipur in that condition.“After continuous monitoring and treatment at hospital, her condition is far better and BP, sugar are under control.
