Chhattisgarh Assembly polls: BSP names Richa Jogi as candidate from Akaltara

RAIPUR: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has named former chief minister and Janata Congress chief Ajit Jogi 's daughter-in-law Richa Jogi as it's candidate in the second list from Akaltara assembly seat.BSP state president Omprakash Bajpayi told TOI that BSP has declared list of its 12 candidates to be fielded in upcoming election on Friday late night.As per the list, Richa Jogi who has recently joined BSP will contest from Akaltara seat.Presently, Chunni Lal Sahu from Congress is sitting legislator from Akaltara assembly seat.BSP has fielded it's sitting MLA Keshav Prasad Chandra from Jaijaipur assembly seat.Similarly, BSP has named state president Omprakash Bajpayi from Navagarh , Geetanjali Patel from Chandrapur, Shyam Tandon from Bhilaigarh, Rameshwar Kaiwartya from Kasdol, Arvind Khatkar from Sarangarh, Kanhaiyalal Sahu from Kurud, Bhojaraj Gaurkhede from Raipur (West), Chaitram Raj from Pandaria, Chhabilal rate from Saraipali and Dinanath Prasad from Bhilai Nagar will be held for next assembly polls next month.
