RAIPUR: To ensure maximum voter turnout in Maoist-hit Jashpur, the district administration will hold a series of awareness events over 17 days in April staring Monday.Jashpur goes to polls in the first phase of general elections on April 11.District collector and election officer Nileshkumar Mahadev Kshirsagar said that the events will be held under the banner 'Jashn-e-Jashpur' as a part of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme of the Election Commission of India (ECI).
