Congress Corporator brutally thrashes man Corporator Kamran Ansari along with others thrashing a man. Staff Reporter : RAIPUR Bringing major embarrassment to the ruling Congress in the State Capital the party Corporator riding high on his proximity to the power corridor brutally thrashed a man reportedly belonging to a tribal community. Kamran Ansari Congress corporator from Lal Bahadur Shastri ward in Raipur badly beats and abuses a man in Raipur on January 10 in a huge public glare. The violent act by Ansari took place yesterday 10 came to light on Monday when a video clipping featuring the Corporator along with others badly thrashing a man went viral on social media platforms. In the video Corporator Ansari was seen beating the man who was accompanied by his mother and using abusive language in a public place. The victim man has been identified as Jai Mandavi informed police sources. However police have registered an offence against Ansari and others it also said that Mandavi along with others under inebriated condition ransacked the office of the Corporator on January 10. In her statement to police the victims mother Meena Mandavi alleged that Ansari along with two others badly beat his son who went to the corporators office to get a labour card. Following the complaint of the victims mother police have registered an offence against the Corporator and others under Sections 294 (obscene acts and songs) 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched a probe in this connection added police sources.
