Staff Reporter :RAIPURAmidst major political crisis emerging in State Bharatiya Janata Party unit of Uttarakhand and speculations over replacing Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat triggering a major Cabinet reshuffle the BJP central leadership had rushed BJP National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh to Dehradun along with BJP Uttarakhand State In-charge Dushyant Kumar. With former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh reaching Dehradun along with Dushyant Kumar on Saturday further raised the political heat. Dr Raman Singh was sent as a political observer by the party central leadership for neutralising the emerging crisis. Thereafter BJP National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh called on Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM House.

Staff Reporter : RAIPUR Amidst major political crisis emerging in State Bharatiya Janata Party unit of Uttarakhand and speculations over replacing Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat triggering a major Cabinet reshuffle the BJP central leadership had rushed BJP National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh to Dehradun along with BJP Uttarakhand State In-charge Dushyant Kumar. With former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh reaching Dehradun along with Dushyant Kumar on Saturday further raised the political heat. Dr Raman Singh was sent as a political observer by the party central leadership for neutralising the emerging crisis. On reaching there Dr Singh attended the BJP Core Committee meeting held at Bijapur Guest House. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and his Cabinet colleagues along with MP Ajay Bhatt Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah Teerath Singh Rawat Rajya Sabha Member Naresh Bansal amongst others were also present in the meeting. As the core committee meeting progressed speculations were rife regarding change of guard which further could have affected a major Cabinet reshuffle. However all these speculations were refuted by the senior party leaders lateron. Both Dr Raman Singh and Dushyant Kumar were in the Bijapur guest house for over four hours convincing the party leaders so that the crisis could be averted. They also held a closed door meeting with former Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna. Thereafter BJP National Vice-President Dr Raman Singh called on Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM House. Thereafter he visited the local RSS head-quarters and then left for New Delhi. However both the leaders declined to make any comment regarding change of guard in State where Assembly polls are due early next year. The BJP had won 57 seats in the 2017 elections to the 70-member State Assembly.
