Chhattisgarh health minister Singh Deo discusses state’s Covid situation with US doctors

RAIPUR: In order to understand and formulate strategies to effectively deal with coronavirus, Chhattisgarh health minister Singh Deo held a virtual meet with doctors of a US-based clinic. Dr Priya Sampat, a specialist in infectious disease in Rochester, not only shared her experience but also agreed to give suggestions from time-to-time. Singh Deo said that during this discussion, people of Indian origin working in the organisation expressed their desire to help India in this period of crisis. The health minister also discussed ways to strengthen management in health sector, arrangements to take patients from rural areas from home to hospital, systematic home quarantine and management in ICU. Chhattisgarh health department has been working continuously to control the spread of coronavirus.
