Staff Reporter : RAIPUR Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Chairperson Soma Mondal called on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his official residence in Raipur on Saturday. The Chief Minister discussed with the SAILChairperson on various issues including implementation of pay revision and wage revision of employees of the SAIL from 2017 onwards giving priority to the residents of Chhattisgarh in the appointment of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) training for the people of Chhattisgarh to upgrade their skills establishment of Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools in BSP area improvement of facilities and development of super specialty hospital at Sector-9 Hospital Bhilai supply of electricity in BSP residential area through CSEB and reducing the rate of lease renewal of land allotted to religious cultural and social institutions of Bhilai. The Chief Minister said that the development of SAIL and Chhattisgarh are intertwined. Chhattisgarh and the SAIL are moving ahead with this mutuality and cooperation and with the passage of time this environment has become even better. The Chief Minister assured Chairperson that State Government would provide all necessary cooperation to the SAIL and expressed the hope that on issues related to the interest of Chhattisgarh state and its people SAIL will continue to get cooperation as before. SAIL Chairperson Soma Mondal also expressed her gratitude for the cooperation being provided by State Government. Secretary of State Mineral Resources Department Anbalgan P and Steel Executive Federation of India President Narendra Kumar Banchoor were laso present on the occasion.
