Bridge Course prepared for students of Class 1-8School Education Department Secretary Dr Kamalpreet Singh (R) and SCERT Director D Rahul Venkat during the webinar. He was addressing the state-level webinar organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) on Tuesday. He said that the SCERT has prepared bridge course for students of class 1 to 8 which should be taught to students within 30 days. Time-table will be prepared for every class and students will be taught accordingly. The SCERT is organising training programme for the teachers on Bridge Course so that they can teach their students.

Staff Reporter : Raipur School Education Department Secretary Dr Kamalpreet Singh on Tuesday said that education of primary and middle school students has been affected the most in this corona period despite online classes and several other mediums adopted to ensure continuity in education. He said that the techniques of the previous classes should be taught to students if they are unable to catch the subjects of the new classes. He was addressing the state-level webinar organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) on Tuesday. He said that the education of students has been adversely affected in Corona and desired results could not be achieved despite innovative methods adopted in the state. He said that the SCERT has prepared bridge course for students of class 1 to 8 which should be taught to students within 30 days. SCERT Director D Rahul Venkat said that a team of subject experts has been formed and these experts have been asked to identify the topic for different classes. Syllabus of each and every class after short-listing of topics. SCERT Additional Director Dr Yogesh Bihari said that the method of teaching students will be different this year. Time-table will be prepared for every class and students will be taught accordingly. Special drive will be launched to fill the learning gap of students could not learnt the skills in the previous classes. The SCERT is organising training programme for the teachers on Bridge Course so that they can teach their students. School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam inaugurated the training programme. So far 1 lakh 3 thousand teachers have participated in the training in the last two days.
