Raipur, Sep 1 (PTI) Chhattisgarh"s COVID-19 tally mounted to 10,04,482 on Wednesday with the addition of 31 new cases, while no fresh fatality was reported due to the infection for the eighth consecutive day, a health official said.The death toll remained unchanged at 13,555, he said.The number of recoveries reached 9,90,536 after 24 people were discharged from various hospitals, while 28 others completed their home isolation during the day, he said.The state now has 391 active cases.Raipur district reported two new infections, taking the caseload to 1,57,873, including 3,139 deaths. Sukma recorded 8 cases, while Bilaspur reported 5 infections, he said.With 25,846 samples being examined during the day, the cumulative number of COVID-19 tests in the state went up to 1,23,99,799, the official said.Chhattisgarh"s coronavirus figures are as follows: Positive cases 10,04,482, new cases 31, death toll 13,555, recovered 9,90,536, active cases 391, total tests 1,23,99,799.
