Raipur, Aug 31 (PTI) Chhattisgarh on Wednesday reported 83 new COVID-19 cases at a positivity rate of 1.99 per cent, taking the overall tally to 11,73,736, while no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the state, an official said.The death toll remained unchanged at 14,110.The recovery count stood at 11,58,751 after 177 people recovered during the day, leaving the state with 875 active cases, he said."Durg led with 13 new cases, followed by 10 in Raipur, 9 in Surguja, 7 in Rajnandgaon and 4 in Bilaspur, among other districts. No new coronavirus cases were reported in 11 of the 28 districts in the state," the official said.With 4,180 swab samples examined during the day, the tally of tests carried out so far in the state went up to 1,84,60,390, he added.Chhattisgarh"s coronavirus figures are as follows: Positive cases 11,73,736, new cases 83, death toll 14,110, recovered 11,58,751, active cases 875, total tests 1,84,60,390.
