Raipur, Sep 8 (PTI) Chhattisgarh on Thursday recorded 103 new cases of COVID-19 at a positivity rate of 1.30 percent, taking the overall count to 11,74,579, while no fresh death linked to the infection was registered in the state, a health department official said.The death toll remain unchanged at 14,116.Durg district reported 22 new infections followed by 11 in Surguja and 7 in Balrampur, among others, the official said.The recovery count rose to 11,59,713 after 118 persons recuperated from the viral infection, leaving the state with an active tally of 750, he said.With 7,948 swab samples examined during the day, the overall number of tests in the state went up to 1,85,10,044, he added.Chhattisgarh"s coronavirus figures are as follows: Positive cases 11,74,579, new cases 103, death toll 14,116, recovered 11,59,713, active cases 750, total tests 1,85,10,044.
