Sangeeta Kashyap hailing from Bastanar block in Bastar district revealed an array of millet-based treats such as millet laddus ragi cookies ragi chakli and kodo-kutki. The stall exhibited not only millet-based products but also a variety of bamboo creations including Supa Tukni Tokri Tuma and Chhatri. The fusion of Bastar's millet traditions with international diplomacy showcased the rich cultural diversity and culinary expertise of Chhattisgarh on the global stage.

The special occasion saw the first ladies and spouses of G-20 countries receiving a cordial invitation to explore an agricultural exhibition at the IARI complex on Pusa Road on Sunday. Women from Bastar took center stage at this event impressing attendees with their innovative millet dishes. Sangeeta Kashyap hailing from Bastanar block in Bastar district revealed an array of millet-based treats such as millet laddus ragi cookies ragi chakli and kodo-kutki. Notably she presented a basket of these delightful dishes to the First Lady of Australia who graciously accepted the gift. Furthermore the women from Bastar extended an invitation to the First Lady to visit their remarkable region. Accompanying the women from Bastar Rukmani Kottam nodal officer of Chhattisgarh Agriculture Department showcased a stall at the exhibition on Pusa Road. The stall exhibited not only millet-based products but also a variety of bamboo creations including Supa Tukni Tokri Tuma and Chhatri. These offerings received high praise from the events visitors. Chhattisgarhs Dhokrakala and Kosa stalls featuring products dyed with natural colours attracted significant attention and appreciation. Nirmala Bhaskar representing the womens group from Gotul Munda village in the Durgkondal block of Kanker had the honour of gifting a basket of millet products to the First Lady of New Zealand. The basket contained an assortment of millet-based delicacies crafted by Chhattisgarhs talented womens groups. The First Lady was so delighted that she took a selfie to commemorate the moment and expressed her intention to share these unique treats with her family. Nirmala Bhaskar shared her sentiment that this was an unforgettable and cherished moment for everyone involved. The fusion of Bastars millet traditions with international diplomacy showcased the rich cultural diversity and culinary expertise of Chhattisgarh on the global stage.
