CM Baghel disburses Rs 23.93 crore to beneficiaries of GNYStaff ReporterRAIPURChief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually released an amount of Rs 23.93 crore to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the Godhan Nyay Yojana (GNY). Chief Minister Baghel virtually transferred an amount of Rs 23.93 crore to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Godhan Nyay Yojana in the programme. This includes a dividend amount of Rs 5.36 crore to cow dung vendors Rs 1.63 crore to gauthan committees and Rs 1.14 crore to self-help groups along with an additional incentive amount of Rs 12.32 crore to self-help groups and Rs 1.23 crore to co-operative societies and self-reliant gauthans. After payment of Rs 29 crore 93 lakh to the beneficiaries under the Godhan NYAY Yojana on Saturday a total of Rs 581.24 crore is paid thus far. After payment of Rs 5.36 crore on September 9 now the total amount has reached Rs 266.44 crore.

CM Baghel disburses Rs 23.93 crore to beneficiaries of GNY Staff Reporter RAIPUR Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel virtually released an amount of Rs 23.93 crore to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the Godhan Nyay Yojana (GNY). The programme was held in the Chief Ministers residence office on Saturday. While addressing the beneficiaries of the Godhan Nyay Yojana Baghel said that this year the State Government is experiencing good rainfall and has high expectations for a bountiful harvest. “Our government has a record of purchasing paddy every year. This year we anticipate procuring 125 lakh metric tonne of paddy. He added that the Central Government has reduced the rice procurement quota for Chhattisgarh along with the quota for our gunny bags. I have written to the Central Government urging them to reconsider and increase the quota” he said. Chief Minister Baghel said that women of the self-help group are procuring gau-mutra at a concessional rate of four rupees per litre in Gothans and are using it to prepare Brahmastra and Jeevamrit which are organic pesticides. These pesticides are being made available to farmers at affordable rates replacing the expensive ones. Farmers have started using these organic pesticides and have benefited from it. Chief Minister Baghel virtually transferred an amount of Rs 23.93 crore to the accounts of the beneficiaries of the Godhan Nyay Yojana in the programme. This includes a dividend amount of Rs 5.36 crore to cow dung vendors Rs 1.63 crore to gauthan committees and Rs 1.14 crore to self-help groups along with an additional incentive amount of Rs 12.32 crore to self-help groups and Rs 1.23 crore to co-operative societies and self-reliant gauthans. This also includes an honorarium of Rs 2.25 crore to the chairman and members of gauthan committees. After payment of Rs 29 crore 93 lakh to the beneficiaries under the Godhan NYAY Yojana on Saturday a total of Rs 581.24 crore is paid thus far. Chief Minister Baghel released an amount of Rs 5.36 crore to cow dung sellers in lieu of 2.68 lakh quintals of cow dung purchased from August 15 to August 31 in gauthans. A total of 133.22 quintals of cow dung have been purchased in gauthans in which Rs 261.08 crore has been paid to farmers rearing animal. After payment of Rs 5.36 crore on September 9 now the total amount has reached Rs 266.44 crore. After the payment of Rs 2.77 crore paid to gauthan committees and womens self-help groups on September 9 the total amount sums to Rs 275.01 crore.
