Cow killers should be shot with glass bullets: Swami Parmatmanand

RAIPUR: A video, which has gone viral on social media, shows Chhattisgarh Sanskrit Vidyamandalam chairman Swami Parmatmanand aggressively talking against cow slaughters , saying the " slaughterers should be killed ". "Mere Ved mein likha hai ki gau hatyare ko sheeshe ki goli se maro... Kshama na karo (My Veda says kill the cow slaughterers with glass bullets. He adds that they cow killers need to be killed with " glass bullets ". Though few of them could be goons, but the cow protectors of my Bajrang Dal arepurely protecting cows," Parmatmanand said.He added that cow slaughtering and watching a cow being killed both were unforgivable sins. "I don't care if I lose my post for saying this," he was heard saying in the clip.

He adds that they cow killers need to be killed with " glass bullets "."No one in India cares about cow slaughters and the handful of people who kill cow slaughterers should be called in Chhattisgarh and felicitated because it is written in the Veda that cow slaughterers should be killed," the godman says in the video.Parmatmanand was apeaking on a dais at Pokhsari village in Surguja district on Sunday during a 'ghar wapsi' programme - a Hindu Sammelan (meet) hosted by Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, son of deceased BJP leader and Jashpur scion Dilip Singh Judeo.Referring to an incident of lynching of a person, Pehlu Khan, for 'killing' a cow in Rajasthan, Parmatmanand said that he was looking for the protectors of cow and they should be felicitated as killing of cow is a sin and Vedas say that the killers of cows should be punished and not forgiven."Mere Ved mein likha hai ki gau hatyare ko sheeshe ki goli se maro... Kshama na karo (My Veda says kill the cow slaughterers with glass bullets. Do not forgive them)"."If there's any CID or IB official present here, please convey this message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi whom we praise and respect, who is the saviour of Hindu religion, that the cow vigilantes aren't goons, like he stated recently. Though few of them could be goons, but the cow protectors of my Bajrang Dal arepurely protecting cows," Parmatmanand said.He added that cow slaughtering and watching a cow being killed both were unforgivable sins."Mai ek din ke liye pradhanmantri banta to sari angrezi school band karwa deta - kya hai ye gitpit gitpit (If I become Prime Minister for a day, I will close down all English Medium schools.). Our ancient Sanskrit language is losing its importance and the Sanskrit teachers are craving for food while English teachers get thousands per month," he was heard saying.Parmatmanand has recently taken charge as the chairman of state's Sanskrit Board and wasn't available for comments when contacted."I don't care if I lose my post for saying this," he was heard saying in the clip.
