RAIPUIR: A purported lovemaking between a boy and girl turned ugly resulting in multiple murders here on Wednesday night.According to cops, the youth, 21-year-old Karthik , was in a relationship with a girl, 21. On Wednesday night, the youth had gone to the girl's house. Scaling the compound wall of the house, the boy managed to enter the girl's room. The mother, who had come to check on the daughter in the middle of the night, found the couple in a compromising position.The incident at Raigarh district's Pusaur region spun out of hand when the boy tried to flee and the mother instantly raised an alarm. The other members of the family also woke up. In a helter-skelter, the boy tried to dodge the woman, police said. However, things took an ugly turn when the girl's father gave a chase and the boy was finally caught by the mother. To free himself, the boy hit her on the head with a pot and the women fell unconscious.Again, when the furious father pursued the boy, the girl changed allegiance and attacked her father. The girl's uncle and two brothers woke up and gave a chase. Fearing torture, the girl again decided to switch sides and this time attacked the boy, sources said. Trying to escape, the boy also attacked the girl's younger brother.Police added that the boy was finally caught by the girl, her uncle and brother. The trio tied the boy to a tree and beat him to death.According to local police, the all the injured were shifted to a hospital on Thursday morning, where the girl's mother and brother succumbed.Villagers, who spoke to TOI, informed that the girl belonged to an influential family and the boy belonged to a different caste.
