Rajkot: A lioness was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Zadka village near Maliya-Hatina in Junagadh district.Some locals spotted the body of the lioness that was packed in a synthetic bag often used by farmers to carry manure and other agriculture produce. It is strongly suspected that the lioness was killed and dumped on the riverbed.Forest department staff rushed to the spot and the carcass has been sent for postmortem, which will reveal the exact cause of her death. The body was found the bed of Meghal river.
