Rajkot: A two-time Rajkot marathon medalist died in an accident on Rajkot-Gondal Road late on Wednesday night. His brother has a shop in the town while his father is a retired employee of PGVCL.Kharcholiya had won medals in recently held Rajkot marathon as well as the one in 2017 in 42 km race. The victim Pradip Kharcholiya, 24, was returning to Gondal on his bike after meeting his fiancee in Rajkot. They were to get married in April.An unidentified vehicle rammed his bike near Bhojpara village, leaving him dead on the spot, police said. Kharcholiya was working with a private company in Gondal.
