Two killed as bike crashes into truck

“The trio were cousins and were on their way to Chotila on one bike. It appears that they were talking on the cellphones while driving and could not notice the truck going ahead, resulting in the accident,” said an official from Kuvadava Road police station. Rajkot: Two persons were killed and one injured when the bike they were riding on rammed into the rear of a truck on the Rajkot-Ahmedabad highway near Hirasar village of Rajkot taluka on Wednesday evening.Police identified the deceased as Gautam Makwana (24), a resident of Lajaigam village of Tankara taluka in Morbi district and Mukesh Ubhadia (27), a resident of Teethawa village of Wankaner taluka in Morbi district.The third person on the bike, Pravin Makwana (22), a resident of Lajaigam, was injured in the accident.
