Little relief from rains as two drown in waterlogged drain

The deceased were identified as Sahil Devipujak (4) and Kartik Devipujak (5), both cousins. Four team of NDRF have been deployed in Gir Somnath district and one more team is expected to arrive from Vadodara on Thursday.The railway track at Kanalus railway station in Jamnagar was restored on Wednesday after it was washed out by heavy rains on Tuesday. NDRF team shifted them to hospital using a boat as the village was marooned in rain water.In order to enable the elected representatives and ministers to oversee the rescue and relief work in their respective regions, chief minister Vijay Rupani cancelled the weekly Cabinet meeting scheduled today.
