“Shouting ‘if you want the money come out and take it,’ Khimsuria fired three rounds at Majothi’s house. On the evening of August 26, after Majothi called up Khimsuria, persisting with his demand to pay him back the money, Khimsuria along with the other accused went to Majothi’s house in a car and opened fire. He is involved in several cases of house break-ins. The attack was the result of a financial dispute.According to police, Majothi had lent Rs 2 lakh to Khimsuria, which he had been asking him to return for the past four years. When Majothi came out, he fired one round at him, which he dodged by bending down,” Thorala police station inspector S N Gadu said.Of the accused Khimsuria is a history-sheeter who was jailed twice under the Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act (PASA).
