Rajkot: A total of 10 ,066 bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) and 2,796 cans of beer, all worth Rs 25.82 lakh , were seized from two different places in Rajkot and Botad districts on Monday morning and Sunday evening respectively.In Rajkot district, 1,282 IMFL bottles and 108 beer cans, worth Rs 4.88 lakh, were seized from a farm in Nana Matra vill-age of Vichhiya taluka. Three bootleggers Manu Dhandhal, Vipul Gabu and Ashwin Khachar, who escaped before the raid, were booked.In Botad district, 8,775 IMFL bottles 2,688 beer cans, worth Rs 20.93 lakh, were seized from outskirts of Aniyari village of Botad taluka. They were dividing the cache that had come in the truck at the time of the raid,” said an official from Paliyad police station. We also seized a truck, car and an SUV. The bootleggers, whose numbers are yet to be ascertained, had escaped.
