Banas Dairy launches edible oil brand

Palanpur: Palanpur headquartered Banas Dairy on Friday launched its own brand of edible oil ‘Navras’. Banas Dairy chairman Shankar Chaudhary said that it was Gujarat’s misfortune that it lost the great Galbakaka for lack of medical facilities. “Gujarat had only 900 medical seats. The oil will be manufactured at the dairy’s new factory with capacity of 50 lakh litres, one of the highest in the country. The brand was launched by deputy chief minister Nitin Patel.

The oil will be manufactured at the dairy’s new factory with capacity of 50 lakh litres, one of the highest in the country. The brand was launched by deputy chief minister Nitin Patel. Patel also inaugurated the 150-seat medical college which will benefit the entire North Gujarat. “Gujarat had only 900 medical seats. But today it has 5,000 seats. This means students from Gujarat need not go out of state for medical education,” he added. Banas Dairy chairman Shankar Chaudhary said that it was Gujarat’s misfortune that it lost the great Galbakaka for lack of medical facilities. “Now, no citizen will suffer for absence of proper medical aid,” Chaudhary said.TNN
