Before the crowd rushed to the site, the driver of the car fled from the spot, fearing a mob fury. Rajkot: Three persons were injured in a hit-and-run accident when they were rammed by a car on Race Course Ring Road in Rajkot on Sunday evening.The injured were going on their two-wheelers when the car rammed their vehicles from rear. They were rushed to Rajkot Civil Hospital, where their condition is said to be out of danger.“After causing the accident, the car drove on to the footpath and came to a halt. As Sunday being the holiday, the place was crowded with people as usual when the accident occurred.“We suspect that the driver of the car was driving in an inebriated state,” added the official. The injured were identified as Harvijaysinh Digvijaysinh, Ghanshyamsinh Bharatsinh and Jenabhai.
