Palanpur: Several members of Thakor Sena were detained when they were protesting against the visit of labour and employment minister Dilip Thakor, who is accused by his daughter-in-law of harassment.Thakor had come to Sanadar village, five km from Deodar, on Monday to address a gathering during the Ambaji Bhadarvi Poonam fair.Thakor, however, refuted the charges and said these were deliberate efforts to blackmail him. Talking to media persons, he termed the charges as fabricated and said he was prepared to accept his granddaughter as well as daughter-in-law.On Saturday, Thakor’s daughter-in-law Jumaben, who has lodged a complaint with the state women’s commission, had alleged that she was living with her parents for past 4-5 years after being kicked out by in-laws for giving birth to a girl child.
