RAJKOT: A 30-year-old rickshaw driver, who was accused by a woman of sexual harassment, was beaten up and forced to walk on his four limbs in a food factory near Junagadh town.Video of the incident that happened on Monday evening went viral on Wednesday. Victim Mukesh Rathod lodged a complaint against factory owners Tarun Kumbhani and Shailesh Patodia as well as the 37-year-old woman after he was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday morning. In his complaint, Rathod alleged that he was thrashed and insulted because he often drank water from a pot in the factory after dropping the women.As Rathod is a Dalit, the three were also booked under sections of Prevention of Atrocities Against SC/ST Act. The woman also lodged a complaint against Rathod who was booked under section 345 of IPC for outraging her modesty.According to the case details, Rathod used to daily ferry several women from Mendpara village, 15 km from Junagadh, to this factory where they made bhakhris (Gujarati-style flat wheat bread). However, this woman suddenly stopped coming to work before few days. When the factor owners called her up to inquire about the reason for not coming, she told them that Rathod was harassing her daily. She also changed the rickshaw to avoid daily harassment, but Rathod allegedly threatened her and said she should travel in his vehicle only.On October 1, Kumbhani and Patodia then asked the woman to come to the factory and they also called Rathod. When Rathod reached there, the trio thrashed him with plastic pipes and then and forced him to walk on his all fours. Another woman employee also recorded this act in her mobile and it went viral in the social media.M S Rana, deputy superintendent of police, Junagadh told TOI: "CCTV footage of the factory shows that the woman first assaulted Rathod with plastic pipes. Kumbhani and Patodia joined her and they too beat him up. After that, he was make to walk on his limbs and the woman is heard warning Rathod not to repeat his advances."The woman and factory owners were arrested but she was granted bail
