Rajkot: A total of 3 ,444 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL), worth Rs 7.54 lakh , were seized from an SUV on the outskirts of Lakhapar village of Rajkot taluka early Monday morning. Along with the SUV, we also seized five bikes,” said K G Sisodiya, sub-inspector of Aji Dam police station. An SUV had come to collect the supply when we raided the spot. One persons was arrested in this connection.Police said while the bootlegger, identified as Ramesh Dharajia (45), was caught from the spot, Pravin Dharajia and six other bootleggers gave the police the slip and vanished into the cover of darkness.“The truck carrying the liquor supply had come to Pravin's farm where it off loaded the supply.
