Rajkot: One of the seven fraudsters who had duped a professor with Jasani College of Rs 42 lakh in Rajkot was nabbed on Thursday.The accused was identified as Bhavesh Trivedi. Meanwhile, we received a tip-off that Bhavesh was working as a caterer at different places in Rajkot and nabbed him from Ghanteshwer locality of Rajkot,” said an official from Rajkot special operation group. Apart from Bhavesh, we arrested all the six accused named in the complaint. Bhavesh had gone absconding after the complaint was filed against him. Bhavesh along with his six aides had allegedly cheated professor Parshottam Undhad in 2015.Bhavesh and his aides Luckyrajsinh Jadeja, Arjun Trivedi, Mayursinh Jadeja, Devshi Kataria, Vijay Kataria and Nasirkhan Pathan had lured Undhad into buying cheap gold and sold him adulterated gold mixed with other metals for Rs 42 lakh.“When Undhad realized the fraud he lodged a police complaint on July 25, 2015.
