Then he fired three rounds at Sondarva’s house,” said an official from Junagadh A-Division police station. Mer called Samir and Sondarva’s father Kishan outside their house and hurled abuses at them. This angered Mer who called up Sondarva’s younger brother Samir, threatening him with dire consequences, four days ago.“On Saturday night, Mer along with three aides arrived at Sondarva’s house in his absence. The incident was the result of a financial dispute between Devendra Mer alias Deva Sunny Sondarva.According to police, Sondarva owed Rs 3.5 lakh to Mer as part of the payment of a liquor consignment, which Sondarva was not paying.
