Missing boy traced, handed over to mother

Rajkot: The 12-year-old boy who had gone missing on Friday afternoon from his residence in Lakhajiraj Udhyognagar in Thorala locality of Rajkot was traced to Shapar Veraval Industrial Zone on Friday evening.According to police, Bhavesh Shiyal, son of Dinesh Shiyal (40), had gone missing from his residence.“After her mother Jaya Shiyal lodged a complaint, we started searching for the boy. Meanwhile, we received an information from Shapar police station that a 12-year-old boy who identified himself as Bhavesh was found crying by the roadside. From his home he walked up to Shapar Veraval and started crying, standing by the roadside from where he was spotted by the officials of Shapar Veraval police station.Bhavesh is the eldest of his three brothers and studies in the seventh standard. Following this, we sent a team of officials to Shapar Veraval and secured the custody of the boy,” said an official from Thorala police station.During his questioning, Bhavesh told the cops that he had left home as he was angry after his mother scolded him.
