Rajkot: The static surveillance squad of election commission seized Rs 9 lakh unaccounted cash from Rajkot on Friday. The surveillance team also found Rs 3 lakh cash from a car on Jamnagar road, however , the person carrying the cash produced the documents, following which allowed to go. The trader could not explain the source of cash and could not produce any documentary evidence during interrogation, hence the cash was seized. According to officials during checking the squad found the cash from a car of Jignesh Vagadia near Nana Mauva. Vagadia is a ghee trader.
