RAJKOT: The Detection of Crime Branch (DCB), Rajkot,arrested three persons from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, in connection with firing on a city-based businessman on April 5.According to DCB officials, they had received a specific tip off about the location of three accused --Ankit Shiyani (29), Dolatsinh Solanki (29) and Yograj Vaghaniya (36) and arrested them. Rajesh had repaid Rs 2.40 lakh, but Mahesh and his accomplices were demanding Rs 2.68 lakh more.On April 2, Mahesh and his assailants kidnapped Rajesh in a car from a farm house on Bhavnagar Road and thrashed him to recover the amount.

Three other accused in the case -- Mahesh Shiyani, Chetan Chauhan and Chetan Solanki -- are still on the run.Police sources said that Rajesh Shiyani (35), a resident of Sadhna society in Rajkot, had lodged a complaint of attempt to murder, death threats against six accused with Bhaktinagar police station early this month.Rajesh, who owns factory unit in Atika on outskirts of Rajkot, had borrowed Rs 2 lakh from Mahesh Shiyani three years ago. Rajesh had repaid Rs 2.40 lakh, but Mahesh and his accomplices were demanding Rs 2.68 lakh more.On April 2, Mahesh and his assailants kidnapped Rajesh in a car from a farm house on Bhavnagar Road and thrashed him to recover the amount.
