RAJKOT: Three cases of suicide and one of attempted suicide have been reported from Morbi and Rajkot in the past 24 hours.Vallabh Chawda, 35, ended life by consuming poison on Subhashnagar Road . The reason for his suicide is not known. In yet another case, Bhogi Pithwa , 65, consumed poison and died at his residence in Navajivan Society. Police said Pithwa had taken the drastic step as he was tired of a prolonged illness. In a similar case, tired of a illness, Jiva Parmar, 42, ended life by consuming poison in Krishna Park-2 in Nava Thorala.Meanwhile, Kamlesh Ramanuj , 43, tried to end life by consuming poison after he was tired of moneylenders. "Ramanuj and his associates had floated an investment scheme. When the scheme flopped, Ramanuj's associates vanished, taking the investors' money. Asking for their money back, the investors started harassing Ramanuj, following which he attempted suicide," said an Aji dam police official. He is admitted to civil hospital where his condition is critical.
