Rajkot: A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl repeatedly for the past six months in Nilkanth Industries of Atika Industrial areaAccording to police officials, Paswan would lure the girl to his house and sexually assault her. "On Friday, her father was shocked to see her enacting the sexual assault while playing with her sister. When he asked the girl as to from where did she learn this, she revealed that Paswan used to take her to his house when he (her father) went out for work," police said.' The girl's parents immediately approached us with a complaint," said an investigating official, adding that they arrested Paswan who has confessed to the crime during interrogation.Police have booked Munna under various sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and 376 (2) of Indian Penal Code.The rape survivor's father had divorced from his first wife. This was his second marriage and has two daughters."Both the parents are labourers engaged in work at the Atika Industrial area," added the official.
