Two beat up man, drive away auto with documents

They robbed Malek of his purse containing Rs 150 cash. Rajkot: An autorickshaw driver was robbed of his rickshaw by two robbers on Tuesday. The officials of A-Division police station said two unidentified persons had hired the rickshaw belonging to Anwar Malek (53), a resident of Barkatinagar-7 on Gondal Road. On their way, the duo attacked Malek. Malek got down from the auto, taking the ignition key with him.

The officials of A-Division police station said two unidentified persons had hired the rickshaw belonging to Anwar Malek (53), a resident of Barkatinagar-7 on Gondal Road."The duo asked Malek to take them to Galaxy Talkies. On their way, the duo attacked Malek. They robbed Malek of his purse containing Rs 150 cash. Malek got down from the auto, taking the ignition key with him. But, he forgot to turn it off. As the rickshaw's engine was running, the robbers drove it off, taking along the original papers of the rickshaw, Malek's voter's card and PAN card," said an official from the A-Division police station.
