Rail, road transport badly hit as rains lash Gujarat

Rail traffic between Ahmedabad and Pipavav Port was halted as the track got submerged in flood waters near Liliya station in Amreli district. RAJKOT: Torrential rains intensified once again across Gujarat on Saturday claiming three lives and forcing evacuation or shifting of over more than 7,000 people mainly in three districts of Saurashtra - Surendranagar, Rajkot and Morbi.
