Rajkot: Three persons were arrested while betting on T-20 cricket match in a parked car on Wednesday night.Police said they had received tip-off about the trio betting in a car opposite Balaji Fast Food ahead of Aji Dam Crossroads, following which they intercepted the car and checked it. "We found three occupants in the car placing bets on the T-20 match between Hubli Tigers Squad and Belagavi Panthers Squad being played in Karnataka. The accused have been identified as Anand Kariya (22), a resident of Nilkanth Park, Krunal Mehta (21), a resident of Mansarovar Park-1, and Deepak Rajvir (33), a resident of Shivam Park-3," said an official from Aji Dam police station.The trio was watching the live match on an application in their cellphones, added the official.
