Digital literacy initiative by street vendors appreciated

The event saw the vendors share their stories about the occasion and how digital payments helped them regulate their business and improve their outreach. Vinod Thakur , state mission director of NULM, was also present on the occasion and congratulated the vendors on their efforts to spread awareness about digital payments in the small business sector. Some 500 footpath vendors from across the capital were felicitated at an event by Samman Foundation for acting as ‘Agents of Change’ for their digital economy literacy and awareness programme.
